The Bank of Tanzania Governor, Mr. Emmanuel Tutuba, on Wednesday September 6, 2023 met the Regional Director for the World Bank’s Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions (EFI) Practice Group, Mr. Hassan Zaman, where they discussed various issues pertaining to the growth of the country’s economy and financial sector.

Additionally, the meeting discussed the continued partnership and cooperation between the World Bank and Tanzania in advancing the economic agenda and solutions to challenges facing the Tanzania economy.

This is part of Mr. Zaman’s visit to Tanzania which aimed to meet the Minister for Finance, BoT Governor, Executive Secretary of the Planning Commission and senior officials from the Tanzania Judiciary in relation to the ongoing implementation of the Citizen Centric Judicial Modernization and Justices Services Delivery Project.
