Bank of Tanzania Governor Mr. Emmanuel Mpawe Tutuba has urged stakeholders in the economic and financial sector to join hands in tackling emerging global economic challenges.

Governor Tutuba, said this in a meeting with the Switzerland-Tanzania Chamber of Commerce (STCC) where several issues of mutual interest were discussed. These included; trade facilitation, investment opportunities in the country, financial cooperation avenues and measures to be taken to address challenges facing the global economy, including Tanzania. 

On the Other hand, the Chairperson  of STCC, Ms. Amne Suedi, congratulated BoT for its contribution in the Country's economic and stability of the financial sector.

Despite the ongoing economic woes, the Governor touted Tanzania as one of the best investment destinations around. Additionally, Governor Tutuba echoed the importance of business and trade collaboration between Tanzania and Switzerland.
